What is INP by page
INP by page shows the Interaction to Next Paint (INP) for your most visited pages. This lens is useful to find pages that are delivering poor responsiveness, starting from the most visited pages first. To view all pages, maximize the lens widget to see the full list, sorted by traffic.
Pages are only the website pages that have been accessed by your real users for the selected period and device. If a page has not been visited, this means it has not reported INP and it will not show up in the widget.
INP is one of the Core Web Vitals and represents how quickly your page responds to user interactions like taps, clicks, or key presses.
Healthy INP by page sample
Should you worry
A healthy INP by page lens looks all green. Some pages may be greener than others, but as long as there's no yellow or red, it’s considered healthy. The greener the page, the more responsive the experience.
Unhealthy INP by page sample
In the example below, the INP by page reveals that the Homepage page is the most visited and at the same time has the worst real user INP values, whereas the rest of the popular pages are responsive.
Resolving unhealthy INP by page
Go-to action plan to resolve an unhealthy INP by page:
Ask Uxi to analyze your INP by page values and suggest improvements.
Use Filters to focus on slow segments in your INP by page, then look across the other INP lenses to find which ones show the slowest interactions with the most pageviews.
Simulate INP of the suspected lens to see if fixing it will resolve the INP by page. If yes, this is where the resolution focus should be.
Use an automated INP optimization tool like INProve to improve your INP by page values.
Once you’ve improved INP, set an alert to be the first to know if it starts worsening again.
