Introduction
In Uxify, Lenses are the fastest way to isolate issues with user experience and engagement.
Each Lens isolates a specific angle, giving you a razor-sharp view into one behavioral trait, rendering metric, or system interaction. With hundreds of lenses available, you can explore your site from every critical perspective — no configuration needed.
Lens layout
Each Lens includes two key visual components. Let’s use the LCP by browser lens as a clear example.
1
Distribution bar – this shows how traffic is distributed across the lens values — in this case, across different browsers. For example, it highlights that Chrome is the most used browser. The bar is color-coded to reflect performance: green indicates good, yellow means needs improvement, and red signals poor performance. The colors match the corresponding lens values for quick visual interpretation.
2
Top values – displays the 4 most popular values, sorted by traffic — in this case, the top 4 browsers. Each value is shown in a rounded square colored to match its performance: green for good, yellow for needs improvement, and red for poor. The colors align with the lens value for quick interpretation.
Lens functions
A lens typically has the following functions available to use:
1
Ask Uxi – a one-click prompt that taps into our AI agent, trained on your user data. It analyzes the lens values and surfaces opportunities for improvement.
2
Maximize – click the Maximize button (as shown below) to expand the lens into a larger view, revealing more detailed data.
3
Set Alert – stay ahead by setting an alert when this lens metric reaches a specific target value. You’ll be the first to know when it changes.
4
Compare – compare the specific lens value against the overall metric in the main chart to understand its impact in context.
5
Simulate – see how the overall metric would change if a specific lens value hits your target. This helps you decide if the improvement is worth the effort — before making any changes.
6
Filter – apply a filter based on a specific lens value to see how it affects all other lenses. This helps uncover relationships and hidden patterns across your data.
Comparison to filters
Unlike manual filters that are time-consuming and complex, our Lenses dashboard saves you time with:
🚩 Built for clarity → No dashboards to build, no noise, just answers. |
🎯 Precision-first → Targets a single slice of experience or engagement |
⚙️ Zero setup → Activate automatically and show you what matters. |
Every Lens focuses on the top 4 most impactful parameters for that specific issue, drawn from real user data and prioritized by frequency and impact. Whether it's slow LCP, layout instability, delayed interaction, or a third-party script dragging your UX down — there’s a Lens that shows you exactly where to look.
Case study
Let's take a look of a real-life example of a SaaS customer of Uxify who runs marketing campaigns. Through the UTM Campaign lens we clearly see that one of the two campaigns they ran last week has performed really poor in terms of experience. This high negative impact on conversion typically stays invisible for website owners, but is piece of cake for Uxify Experience and the use of Lenses.
Lenses make performance exploration effortless so you can fix what matters, faster.
