Your Experience dashboard is the central hub for monitoring real-world performance metrics like LCP (Largest Contentful Paint), CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift), INP (Interaction to Next Paint), TTFB (Time to First Byte), and PLS (Perceived Load Speed).
But here’s the powerful part - you don’t have to settle for a one-size-fits-all view. You can fully customize your dashboard to reflect the metrics and perspectives that matter most to your team.
1. Add lenses
The Experience dashboard offers over 300+ unique lenses - each one designed to show your performance through a different lens. Want to focus on slow-loading landing pages? Or maybe monitor performance by device type or user cohort? There’s a lens for that.
To add a new lens:
Click the “+” button or "Add more widget lenses".
Browse through the available lenses.
Select the ones you need
Click "Apply" - your dashboard updates instantly.
2. Arrange it your way
Your dashboard should match your workflow - not the other way around. Every lens is draggable. Want to bring your most important metrics front and center?
Just click and hold on a lens, then drag it to the new position.
This makes it easy to rearrange your view as priorities change over time.
3. Choose your layout
Need a clean single-column view for narrow screens? Or maybe a four-column grid to maximize data density? You can customize the column layout with just a click.
To change the layout:
Click the column layout icon (vertical bars) in the top-right.
Each click cycles through 1, 2, 3, or 4 columns.
Watch the dashboard rearrange instantly.
Conclusion
The Experience dashboard adapts to your needs. Easily focus on Core Web Vitals, monitor perceived performance (PLS), and arrange your view for maximum efficiency. Your custom layout and added lenses are automatically saved, so your dashboard is ready to go, your way, every time you log in.
